Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

10.04 clean install, when i click on places/network i can see found
shares but when i double click on the share i get a window pop up
informing me:

 "opening SERVER".
You can stop this operation by clicking cancel.

This stays up for a minute then i get the following message in a pop up:

Unable to mount location

DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply.
Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply,
the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout
expired, or the network connection was broken.

This message will keep popping up until i click cancel on the first
window.
