I can't change the real name of a user with users-admin in lucid.
If I try, I always get an error-dialog saying
"The configuration could not be saved
An unknown error occurred."
Stderr says:
"(users-admin:####): Liboobs-WARNING **: There was an unknown error
communicating asynchronously with the backends: Malformed message was sent"
