You have been subscribed to a public bug:
In the gnome-sound-recorder, after sorting the files in the open or save
dialog boxes, the selection cannot be made by a user. This isn't just a
sound recorder problem, I've noticed it in Firefox and Glade as well.
But this does not affect all programs, gedit and totem are not affected.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open gnome-sound-recorder
2. Go to File -> Open
3. Sort the files by name, size, or modification time
4. Attempt to select a file or folder
5. Double click on a folder and observe that it does indeed navigate to that
folder
