I see this too, after upgrading to edgy, never saw it with the 2.6
series. If I select two consecutive messages in the message list and
delete them both at the same time, focus does return to message list and
the next undeleted message is selected. It also occurs only when the
"Hide Deleted Messages" option is enabled. Perhaps the message is being
removed before the mouse selection is updated?
