Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a conflict between my applications. I
noticed that Nautilus does not open properly executable text files. It
supposed to be executed, but instead gedit opens it automatically.

I have set the option to "Ask each time" under Executable Text Files
behavior in Nautilus Preferences but it doesn't display the option to
either Run, Display or Cancel.

I am running Ubuntu 9.10 with Ubuntu Tweak, ClamTk and Wine and have the
latest updates of all packages.

What's wrong?
