Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility
Trying the Disk utility 2.30.1 results in some catch-me-if-you-can game
as the window is jumping away when I attempt to click some buttons.
running latest ubuntu lucid desktop version on netbook Acer Aspire One
A110L (8GB SSD). Screen size is 1024x600.
Starting Disk Utility from System -> Administration opens a the Disk
Utility window filling approx 80% of the screen width and 100% of the
space between top and bottom panel, i.e. the complete program window is
shown. Clicking on my hard drive in the left panel extends the screen
horizontally and vertically. The bottom two rows of buttons are now
invisible even when the bottom panel is removed. (window can be moved
with Alt-Left mouse)
Maximizing the window only extends the window to full width, but
vertically it still does not show the bottom rows. But when I now click
anywhere on the window, the window jumps up by approx 100-150 pixels, on
the next click down. The mouse clicks, though, go into dead space, or
land on a completely different button. Apparently the mouse-click-
location is interpreted after the jump of the screen.
