Binary package hint: alacarte

When I select the item 'NX Client for Linux' in the menu on alacarte
(see screenshot 1) when I click close, it forgets my settings and doesnt
add it to the menu. (see Screenshot 2 when you reopen alacarte)
Screenshot 3 is of the unchanged menus.
I also tried running alacarte via terminal in the hope of getting some
debugging output, but there doesnt appear to be any.
Please could this be fixed.
