You have been subscribed to a public bug:
When a blank disc is in the cd drive when selected in nautilus the user should
be presented with an option to "burn files to disk". Instead an attempy was
made to mount the disk, thus mount gives error:
block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only, etc
Also, for some reason recently an empty floppy drive (floppy0) has appeared in
the nautilus side pane so I blacklisted the floppy module to see if that made a
difference.
$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf | grep floppy
#(floppy) 02/04/10 this pc doesn't have a floppy
blacklist floppy
ANd after updating the initramfs image i was presented with the options
in nautilus that you would expect. I have no idea whast going on :)
