Hello Pedro, thank you for your comments. I read also the 10 pages of how to report a bug.
This is my first bug report an I am still a bit helpless, how to do it better. Is there any way I can get support for my first bug report? (Can you help me?) Can I call you?? Here some more Information that may be help: Evolution 2.28.1 german Ubuntu 9.10 (german) Size of all e-mails: 3,2 GB (is the size a problem?) I worked with evolution already 1-2 years without having trouble. But I thought, a backup of all the e-mails would be a good idea. So I used the build in Backup (File - Backup settings ...) I choosed my network attached server (Synology DS207+ with Firmware DSM 2.3-1141) using samba file sharing. After restart of Evolution I discovered, that sub-folders in the left hand side bar not accessible. The small triangle left to any folder which have sub-folders are not function as expected: I would expect, that a click at the triangle would turn the triangle 90 degrees and the sub-folders would be visible. But a click on any of the triangles does not have any effect. I could see, that an open folder has the triangle with a white filling when turned open and black filling when sub-folders are not visible. My triangles all have a white filling. I than setup a new user at my system and did the same with a new evolution. Here I generate only 210 MB. But - here is everything ok. Again: Can you help me to bring in my report or may I call you??
