Still experiencing this problem with the latest versions of 10.04 RC. gnome-power-manager isn't crashing but the laptop is randomly switching off.
One theory I have that would explain *some* of the reboots is that when the warning appears to say the battery is getting low, and the power cord is plugged in (and recognised) the laptop still switches off a few minutes later.
