Nope, it's all still to do with Ubuntu One Music Store. To summarize my findings so far:
Case 1: > rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store package INSTALLED > wins entry REMOVED in nsswitch.conf Result: Works fine. Case 2: > rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store package INSTALLED > wins entry PRESENT in nsswitch.conf Result: Launch immediately segfaults.
