Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
Expected behavior: After choosing a theme the mouse pointer is properly set to the one corresponding to the theme. Observed behavior: After choosing a theme the mouse pointer is set to the "Default". How to reproduce: Karmic, Kubuntu install, Gnome Desktop login. Go to "System -> Preferences -> Appearance ", choose a theme. The mouse pointer immediately becomes the Default one. Choose "Customize... -> Ponter". You see enabled the last manually chosen mouse pointer, but the mouse pointer still looks like Default. Change to any other and back to the one you want. You finally get the correct mouse pointer, but the "Custom" theme is overridden.
