You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I can't seem to be able to get the built-in gnome calendar to show
Monday as the start of the week (instead of Sunday)

this used to be in the preferences a long time ago

then it was removed, but one could still change the week start by
selecting English (United Kingdom) as the locale

now I did the same, selected English (United Kindgom), clicked on 'apply
system wide', rebooted the system, but still the week starts on Sunday
:(

this is really a reverse progress :(

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
