Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
First of all, I want to tell you that the function keys were working flawlessly on Karmic. (if this could help) Now, I am on Lucid(Ubuntu 10.04). When I try to increase/decrease the brightness using the function keys (Fn+F6 or F5), the OSD appears but neither the brightness nor the OSD indicator change. I tried to follow this https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hotkeys/Troubleshooting, It showed me that the keycode is right but I can't re-map it.
