Since I updated to 10.04 every time the login screen shows at startup, theres a
high pitch tone sounding for some 5 or 10 seconds -the drumming system sound
sounds fine in the meantime.
Then right after I choose my user and type the password the annoing tone sounds
for a while again -also the system start-up tune sounds fine and doesn't seem
to be related to the tone both in duration nor sequence.
There's no other event ever during my regular use of Ubuntu until I reboot.
Music is fine, all system sounds are fine.
