Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Gnome main menu vanishes (and displays deformed text).
After login (not always ... but often) the gnome-panel doesn't display
anything. The main-menu button is not present, nor the shut-down button,
nor the me-menu, nor the clock applet and so on. If I left-click with
mouse upon the normal area of such objects, I get the right behaviour.
Then I need to logout and login again (using the left-click of mouse
upon the right-hand limit of the gnome-panel area, where usually I see
the shudown button).
At the second login I always get the right beahivour but I always get
text fonts "deformed". See attached PNG image as sample.
I think this is a bug.
Many thanks for Your help.
Ciao from Italy.
