Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
On certain boots of Ubuntu the panels display incorrectly, sometimes the
network icon is missing, sometimes the date and time applet does not
draw correctly, sometimes the username is drawn twice, sometimes the
power off button is hidden.
There is no logic as to when any of these will happen.
Using Ubuntu 10.04 AMD64 with the default themes (Ambience)
See screen shot panel-bug.png.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Start Ubuntu
Expected result:
The panel draws each icon correctly and there is no overlap
Actual result:
Seemingly randomly certain Ubuntu boots causes the panel to draw icons
overlapping each other
