Binary package hint: evince
If I try to print some PDFs with evince per "HP LaserJet 5M
Foomatic/Postscript" the display on my printers shows me following error
"79 Service (01bf)"
and after that does nothing. I have to powercycle it to get it responsible
again.
The problem
- does not appear when printing with evince per "HP LaserJet 5M -
CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.5 Simplified"
- does not appear when printing with epdfview and "HP LaserJet 5M
Foomatic/Postscript"
- does not appear when printing with Windows 7 and its Postscript-driver
Only with evince and postscript. So I think that a hardware failure can be
ruled out.
I will attach the PDF.
As a sidenote: I tried to print 2 pages from the PDF on one page from the
printer if that matters.
