You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu
I installed gnome-main-menu (single button for applications, places & system) on my panel in Lucid. I am, however, unable to reach the bottom entries of menus which are longer than the height of my screen (e.g. System -> Preferences). Every time i want to scroll down with the mouse it "resets" its position to the top item. Hovering over the button at the bottom to scroll down works, but if i then move up a little to selet e.g. the last entry, it jumps right up again. Scrolling with the arrow keys works flawlessly.
