I have plugged in my iPod 4g (40gb) as normal in Lucid. Rhythmbox opens
as the system recognises an iPod, and it retrieves the track listing
without a problem. When I try to play a track Rhythmbox becomes
unresponsive. This behaviour is the same with gtkpod and VLC too. System
monitor is unable to kill any process attempting to play a song from the
iPod and it cannot be ejected by the menu. If the iPod is removed from
the USB cable Rhythmbox unfreezes and can be closed.
