Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gdm
gdm-safe-restart used to send the USR1 signal to gdm to cause it to restart
after the current user logs out. In Lucid,
it does not work:
# gdm-safe-restart
Not supported
I manage a network of 200+ Ubuntu workstations. I previously used this
feature to update gdm without interrupting my customers. Is there an
alternate way to do this?
