Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
If I turn off the hard switch for my wireless, the wireless radio stays
active. If I disable and enable wireless in the Network Manager it still
activates the wireless radio even though the switch is off.
If I turn off the hard switch for my wireless and then reboot the
wireless radio is off and not detected. If I switch it on, it will be
detected and activated but then I can't turn it off again via the same
switch.
This is reproducible everytime.
Enabling and disabling wireless from the Network applet manager
functions properly.
