Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp
GIMP version: 2.6.8-2ubuntu1.1 Operating System: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS X.org: 1:7.5+5ubuntu1 X.org Mouse Driver: xserver-xorg-input-mouse 1:1.5.0-1 X.org Intel Driver: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.9.1-3ubuntu5 This was a Fresh install and not updated from Ubuntu 9.10. When using Gimp if I drag a brush using my mouse the Gimp brush lags behind the X.org mouse cursor So the brush is not in the same place as the cursor. This only seems to happen when moving the mouse faster. I will include an image to show what I mean by brush and cursor (Just in-case you don't understand what I mean) and include a hardinfo report in HTML. If you need any more info just say :) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: gimp 2.6.8-2ubuntu1.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-22.36-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-22-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Jun 26 10:37:42 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gimp ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- GIMP Brush cannot keep up with mouse movement https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/598772 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gimp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
