I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04 and installed synergy-plus-1.3.4. It works ok now. I only have layout Belgium in my Layouts. When I do an upgrade to the next Ubuntu I'll hope the bug won't reappear. If it does I'll file a new bug report.
