Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-session

After running oem-config, the system restarts X and prompts for user
login. The default is Ubuntu Netbook session, but after logging in, the
user is left with a blank screen. Rebooting and logging in with the
session changed to Ubuntu Netbook 2D launches netbook-launcher-efl, but
also starts the gnome desktop panel environment.

This is on an arm based beagleboard system running maverick-
preinstalled-netbook-armel+omap.img from 20100630.6.
