Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Trash icon is not visible by default on desktop and furthermore is not simple for an average user to show it. Actually you have to trick with gconf-editor or install 3th party applications as Ubuntu-tweak. So we have two problem for an average user: 1. trash icon is not visible and he/she doesn't have an idea how to retrieve documents in the trash etc. 2. there isn't system gui tools installed by default on Ubuntu, so average user is lost just for a trash... Solution would be to have trash icon visible on default installation of Ubuntu.
