O.k., but it is not the same problem. My problem is, when installing Ubuntu 6.06 in the only drive I have. The drive is recognized, but partitions not. These are my partitios on an IBM-HITACHI 80gb: 1) FAT 16 - primary 2) Extended with: fat32,ext3,swap,ext3 The only partition recognized is FAT 16, and gparted says it is a 80 gb. partition (the hole disk). Cfdisk and every other program (except Qtparted), recognize partitions o.k. Gparted and Qtparted uses parted libs, so it seems the problem is parted libs... As I can't use another program during installation, I simply can't install Ubuntu. Maybe I should contact libparted developers... -- Saludos, Wilson Mensaje enviado con Thunderbird/Linux -- Gparted doesn't recognize partitions properly https://launchpad.net/bugs/54211 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
