Looks like the wording of my original bug could have been better, sorry. The appending of digits after the "brasero" file name was my idea of a stop-gap solution so the program would still be usable. But my actual request was to use the volume name of the disc as the file name as nautilus-cd-burner did.
Without such functionality, making backups of multiple discs in a row is very tedious. Would opening a new bug be the proper thing to do, or should this bug be re-opened and my wording adjusted?
