There has been some odd behavior with sound. First there were two icons
in the panel; one Jaunty version and the other Intrepid. Now the
Intrepid version is the one remaining and the sound volume - wherever it
is set gradually increases to 100%. It actually showed 103% at one
point.
Fortunately, my speakers can handle this abuse, but others may not.
