Binary package hint: empathy
See the screenshot, when GSM modem disconnects, empathy keeps showing
online contacts and i even can start chating with someone, this fooled
me few times that i did not realized that i was offline and i was
chating and keep chating and the person did not reply... i further
realize that i was disconnected but empathy did not aware at that point.
After several minutes od unplugging USB modem, (with empathy still
online), I tried replugging the USB modem and it takes a few minutes to
the modem to settle and recognize, and at this point there is a
notification bubble that says "network disconnected" and then Empathy
disconnects....
