Just installed ubuntu edgy beta
And I have set fast keys:
<ctrl><alt><num1> = switching to desktop 1
<ctrl><alt><num2> = switching to desktop 2
<ctrl><alt><num3> = switching to desktop 3
<ctrl><alt><num4> = switching to desktop 4
When I installed a program with synaptic there was that progress window
I wanted to switch to another desktop with the fast keys I wrote here.
And I found out that the progress screen was coming with me to another desktop
while I switched, and the programs that where open on that desktop were not
showed. I had to klick on the desktop switcher below in the gnome-bar to do it
right.
The fast-keys above only did not do it when synaptic was installing
software. On other occasions it was perfect.
