This is not a bug with the meta-gnome package. It seems to be a kernel
problem. I have the 6-cell version of the Acer Aspire One and am unable
to change the brightness with any of the Linux programs I found, with
the terminal, or the buttons on the keyboard. This does not work in the
Beta version of Ubuntu or the old version.
