I have the same bug. It happened after I uninstalled, then reinstalled
PulseAudio. The volume control applet in the toolbar is gone, and
entering 'gnome-volume-control' results in the same errors as above.
(It might be worth noting that the port the applet tries to connect to
is different each time I issue the command.) Here's are the errors I
get:
