Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

While entering my password in the "Enter your password to perform
administrative tasks" dialog (when the entire desktop is dimmed), the
keyboard layout indicator does not reflect keyboard shortcut-initiated
(e.g. Alt-Shift) layout changes, thus it is impossible to know for sure
which language I'm using to enter my password (shown as dots).

This behaviour is only observed with Compiz disabled.
