Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
Steps to reproduce: Way 1: ( Make sure that gedit was previously loaded maximized) 1) Open nautilus 2) Create a file "foo.txt" 3) Double click file to open it in gedit Way 2: 1) Open gedit from start menu so that it doesn't load any files 2) Maximize the window 3) File -> Open, Select a text file Expected Results: Gedit should stay on the monitor it was loaded / or on the monitor that the mouse is on Actual Results: Gedit loads on the correct monitor, but after loading the first file moves itself to my second monitor.
