** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gedit
-
- Ubuntu 9.04 amd64 2.6.31-20.58-generic
- gedit 2.28.0-0ubuntu2
- Linux 2.6.31-20-generic x86_64

I have a .txt that I use on both my Ubuntu and Windows computer.
A line break in Notepad (win) becomes a double ditto in Gedit,
and a line break in Gedit does nothing in Notepad.

But this only applies to text I have recently written.
The document is kind of old and the original lines look OK.
I don't know, but it might be I've seen this bug since I freshly installed
the amd64 Karmic a few months ago(?).
