Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Gnome-terminal application uses QWERTY control characters even if I switch layout to Dvorak. I.e. even in Dvorak layout, I've to press CTRL-U on QWERTY to kill till the beginning of line. Other applications like Firefox don't exhibit this problem - they still work with Dvorak control keys ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Aug 30 19:52:14 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: gnome-terminal 2.28.1-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_IN SHELL=bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-22.63-generic SourcePackage: gnome-terminal Uname: Linux 2.6.31-22-generic i686 XsessionErrors: (<unknown>:6496): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times (<unknown>:6529): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Control characters don't swich even after changing keyboard layout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/626852 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
