Binary package hint: gnome-nettool
The connection cannot be held for much more than a minute although the
time period varies somewhat and also it occasionally holds for an hour.
I attach the log copy of recent event.
There can be a flash on the screen and the computer crashes. sometimes a
restart does not cure the problem,
