After blanking several DVDs with brasero, they were no longer mounted. Trying to mount them with the command line "sudo mount /dev/sr0" gave the following errors in dmesg: [ 1305.648095] UDF-fs: No anchor found [ 1305.648099] UDF-fs: No partition found (1) [ 1305.795896] ISOFS: Unable to identify CD-ROM format.
It doesn't matter if it's fast or full blanking. One workaround is to run the command line too dvd+rw-format: dvd+rw-format -force -lead-out /dev/dvd2 -- Blanking disks in Brasero renders it unreadable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/495144 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
