Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

After todays update (python2.4-*, and some other packages), I can't get into
xorg and gdm anymore. In the CLI, much programs complain about 'undefined
symbols', for instance if I execute 'gdm', I get the following error:
gdm: symbol lookup error: gdm: undefined symbol: g_access

When I try to install a package with apt-get, I also get an undefined symbol:
g_str_has_suffix

I've found a page with description of exactly the same problem (in
German): http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/47826/next/

(I really don't know in which package this bug is, so I entered gdm)

** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
