Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Occasionally, when I boot Ubuntu, the menu bar cuts off the far right
side. This completely cuts off the shutdown icon at the far right and
it also cuts off the last part of my login name (I don't believe I've
changed the order of the rightmost elements from their default positions
in 10.04). This, of course, makes it impossible to shutdown or restart
the computer using normal methods (I know how to use the terminal to
shut down the computer). The cutting off persists even after locking
the screen or suspending and resuming.
