Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Recently upgraded to Maverick. I downloaded the following .iso image (with Firefox) to my Desktop: http://www.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=pts_desktop_live The file isn't displayed on the desktop and is missing in Nautilus even if I show hidden files. Other programs such as brasero or mplayer show the file and I am able to access it via gnome-terminal - I renamed the file this way in order to see if it had any effect which it didn't. I'm not sure if this affects any other filetypes or files and unfortunately, the linked .iso image is 1.4Gb ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: nautilus 1:2.31.92-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.32-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Sep 19 20:45:10 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus ProcEnviron: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- Nautilus doesn't display downloaded .iso file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/643031 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
