Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
1) Ubuntu 10.4 1 LTS
2) 2.30.0-0ubuntu1
3) the manager should recognize whether the laptop is running on battery or not
and show the percentage of batterycharge
4) most of the time it doesn't even show correctly whether the laptop runs on
battery or not and instead of showing a percentage it just claims that the
battery is fully charged all the time
