Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: yelp
Hello
I use 10.04 on an Acer Aspire 1 netbook and a Lenovo External USB DVD drive.
It all worked well with the previous version of Ubuntu (9.something). The DVD
works perfectly when I inset one from a Linux magazine.
Now I cannot burn CD's now. The icon is generally visible at (computer:///)
when the drive is empty. When a music CD is inserted I hear the drive spin then
the icon at computer:/// disappears. It is not available for any program to
access.
When I take the music CD out and close the drive the icon reappears.
It reads magazine DVDs perfectly, and used to work on the previous version of
Ubuntu.
All very strange!!
Thanks for your time and effort. Till now it has all worked perfectly.
