I've just upgraded to the latest ia32-libs for Maverick. I get this error. "Setting up ia32-libs (20090808ubuntu7) ... g_module_open() failed for /usr/lib32/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-jasper.so: libjasper.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
It is likely that this error is from a previous upgrade error.
