I've just installed 9.4 beta on my samsung NC10 and the brightness keys work
but when i leave the machine for a moment it dim's as it should
but about 60% of the time when i press a key to return work
the brightness doesn't return to the previous level
requiring me to raise the level manually some times from 0
reqiuring to press brightness 15+ times
while this isn't a serious bug it is rather annoying
and to a new user could cause isssues thinking their pc had turned off when the
screen is just dark
