I agree with Gunnar Hjalmarsson, if a user changes the language in GDM,
it should only change the interface language(set LANGUAGE, LC_MESSAGE
variable), not ALL locale seetings.

As a Taiwan user, the default display language after Ubuntu installed is
Traditional Chinese, but I prefer my interface message displays in
English and keep the currency, datetime, formate, input method is zh_TW.

To have language-selector and location-selector option in GDM would be
better.

I believe this requirement is also needed by  foreigns  live in Taiwan.
(who may are married with Taiwanese or are studying in Taiwan school.)
