Using Fn+F6/Fn+F7 to set brightness has a bug. From 0% to 100% (or vice versa)
there are 3,5 steps. The last half step is problematic. You have to use
Fn+F7+F7+F7+F6+F7 to get to 100% or Fn+F6+F6+F6+F7+F6 to get to 0%.
My suggestion is to halve the increment/decrement step size.

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
