Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I put a blank DVD in my USB DVD writer and when the prompt came up, said I wanted to create a new DVD. I dragged files into the window and started the burn. During the burn process, only during the part where the files are written (so not during finalization etc) one of my CPU cores was pegged at maximum frequency, and top said the "nautilus" process was using >100% CPU (I saw up to 114%). My PC is a 3.4GHz Quad Core so there's no good reason for nautilus to use all of one core. I'm running Maverick, amd64, nautilus package version is 1:2.32.0-0ubuntu1. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nautilus uses >100% cpu when writing DVD https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
