My rhythmbox has exactly the same bug on two different laptops: the
other is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS desktop and the other Ubuntu 10.04 LTS netbook
edition. Both are up-to-date and rather new installs (the netbook is
less than one day since I installed it).

The rhythmbox seems to first slow down when it tries to handle tens of
thousands of titles on a samba share. Then it completely freezes and
finally crashes. There seems to be some variation on how the bug
appears. The less powerful laptop seems to crash more easily than the
more powerful one.

This is my latest syslog entry:

rhythmbox[16751]: segfault at 3a6e7773 ip 00d5a6c7 sp b19f1f40 error 4
in libgvfscommon.so.0.0.0[d50000+14000]

I've sent a full crash report with apport today.
